Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. First time going here. I worked at a similar restaurant for 12 years, the owners of Chris’ often came in to visit and I always liked them, so I figured after all these years I’d try it out… we were very disappointed. Our server was very nice and knew what she was doing, but the food wasn’t great. My eggs were tasteless, my son’s home fries were cold and hardly cooked. The sugar packets on the table were hard and I had to break the sugar up. We were also charged for each cup of coffee… which essentially was 5 cups and paid over $13 for those, then we get to the register to pay and there is an almost $2 fee for using a card… what!? I love small family owned businesses, but unfortunately this place didn’t hit the mark in anyway besides the older lady we had as our server. Sad to see a once thriving business turn into an overpriced, rundown place.

I recently moved to Lorain like a year ago and the power went out yesterday and woke up this morning still with no power. And so I went to check out some of the closest spots to eat and I was super happy and surprised when I found this cute little diner style spot. My waitress was a very pleasant young lady who was attentive and brought our food promptly and all the other staff were constantly coming by asking to fill up my coffee. I had Southwest breakfast with eggs hash browns and green peppers and onions and so forth and it was delicious and hit the spot. The prices were reasonable and me and my two children ate for under $40. I'm for sure going to end up coming here more often and I'm super happy that I found it.

-Western Omelet, rye toast & potatoes -Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Rye Toast & home fries -Country Fried Steak, scrambled eggs, rye toast and home-fries Coffee was extremely WEAK and the first few cups were ice cold! Service was slow -they were not very busy and the server stood behind the counter most of our visit. We were surprised by the SMALL portions of food on our plates for the price of the meals. Overall, we were disappointed with the experience.. especially with it being our first time!

Stopped in on a Sunday morning around 11a. You’ll come here for a homemade meal that’s tasty enough. Depending on the day and time you arrive it’ll be steadily busy. Breakfast is served until 2p! Our breakfast was warm and delicious when it made it to our table. Our waitress is cordial and checked on us when possible. This establishment has a loyal local fan base and this place delivers in satisfying your hunger.
